Why I built a WordPress bench

I've spent my whole career around agencies, and I kept seeing the same problem: good WordPress work showing up at the wrong time. The team is full, the one person who really knows WordPress is buried, or a site breaks in a way nobody can pin down.

The agency's options were never great. Turn the project away and leave money on the table, or take it on and sweat through nights you didn't plan for. I didn't like either one, so I built the thing I wished those teams had: a senior WordPress bench they could hand work to and then stop thinking about.

How I work

I treat WordPress like engineering, not a click-together hobby. In practice, that comes down to six things.

Read the code first

I read the code before changing it, so the fix is based on how your site actually works, not a guess.

Fix the cause, not the symptom

I find and fix the actual cause instead of patching over it, so the problem stays fixed.

Real staging-to-live

Work ships through a proper staging-to-live process, so nothing surprises your client when it goes live.

Documented, no lock-in

When I hand something back, it comes with notes, so nobody ends up locked into me.

Invisible by design

Your brand goes on everything. I don't talk to your clients and I don't pitch them. You stay the face; I'm the part they never see.

No going dark

I don't disappear in the middle of a build. You get steady updates from kickoff to ship, and I hit the dates I give you.

What I'm known for

The "no one else could solve it" tickets: plugin conflicts, broken checkouts, the bug three other people gave up on.

Stepping into messy existing sites without breaking what already works.

Full builds and redesigns that ship on time, under an agency's name.

Being the steady partner agencies keep coming back to, some for more than a decade.

What I work in

WordPress is vast, and after 15 years I work across the whole stack: from a clean new build to the ticket no one else could close. A sample of what that covers.
